The Goal of the Project
In the project, which was carried out in the enterprise operating in the aluminum sector, the parameters that cause inefficiency in the existing compressed air system were measured and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it is aimed to reduce the energy consumed for unit air production (SET: Specific energy consumption).
Scope of the Project
Within the scope of the project, inefficient air dryers were replaced with high efficiency speed drive controlled air dryers. In addition, efficient air vents and air guns have been used instead of existing instruments. By establishing an energy monitoring system for the entire compressed air system, the air consumption in the processes and the compressor efficiency can be monitored continuously.
