Flash Steam Systems

VAT ENERJI offers turnkey solutions to its customers with the calculation of the amount of flash steam, the design, manufacture and application of the appropriate flash steam system.

In plants using steam, some of the energy of the condensate at high pressure and temperature returning to the boiler room emerges as flash steam due to enthalpy loss. This flash steam is ejected from the condensate tanks open to the atmosphere, thus causing loss of energy, water and chemicals. This loss can reach up to 3-20% of the amount of steam produced. Flash steam systems are the systems that prevent these losses and ensure the recovery of the ejected steam. The resulting flash steam can be used in the deaerator to obtain hot water or hot air.
